The Publication of “Dear Evan Hansen” by TCG
Theatre Communications Group is the national organization the aim of which is to support and strengthen professional non-profit theatres. Within years, a small company turned into a large establishment with 700 theatre-members. What is more, there are more than 12, 000 members countrywide.

Steven Levenson is a writer of the book for “Dear Evan Hansen”. The range of his works includes “Core Values”, “The language of Trees”, “Seven Minutes in Heaven”, “If I forget”, “The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin”. Mr. Levenson graduated from Brown University and spent three years on writing and producing for Showtime’s Masters of Sex.
Another two creators of “Dear Evan Hansen” are Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The songwriting team has written a great deal of good musicals. Apart from “Dear Evan Hansen”, one of the most famous their projects is “La La Land”. For this musical they got (together with Justin Hurwitz) the Academy Award for the Best Original Song, which is “City of Stars”. Pasek and Paul graduated from the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Program. In addition, they are members of the Dramatists Guild of America.
